Fade In Hover Menu – The plugin is designed to be used with navigation menus, where each menu item is made from an anchor element within a list-item element.

Jquery Menu Style 01 – a full cross-browser compatibility menu and fully accessible even when javascript is turned off, as a pure css menu.

Quicksand – Reorder Menus and filter items with a nice shuffling animation.

Superfish is an enhanced Suckerfish-style menu jQuery plugin that takes an existing pure CSS drop-down menu (so it degrades gracefully without JavaScript).

Accordion Menus: Simple Menu, Hover Accordion, Two Levels Menu, TinyBox, Horizontal JavaScript Accordion 1kb, SimpleMe, Accordion Menu script (v1.7.1)

Horinaja – Horinaja is a ready-to-use slide-show implementation, this is innovative because it allows you to use a mousewheel for navigation. When the mouse is outside of the slide-show area, it scrolls. When hovering over the slide-show, the scrolling pauses.

Other Slider : Auto Slider Slideshow, Slick and Accessible Slideshow Using jQuery, Coda, Loopslider, JCarousel, I-Tunes, Slide Thumbs, Mosaic Slider, Featured Content Slider, Easy Slider, JCoverflip , Auto-Playing Featured Content Slider, Slide Deck, WowSlider, Jquery Carousel, CrossSlide, jqfancytransitions, Nivo,Coin Slider More

SmoothGallery – is one of the best Javascript slideshows available. In addition of the “classic” sliding effect, Smoothgallery also provide a very smooth fading between items.

jQuery Multimedia Portfolio – can handle a large variety of media : text, photos, but also flv videos and mp3 audio and is simple to use. A good script.

Jquery Masonry Filtering – Masonry is a layout plugin for jQuery. Think of it as the flip side of CSS floats. Whereas floating arranges elements horizontally then vertically, Masonry arranges elements vertically then horizontally according to a grid. The result minimizes vertical gaps between elements of varying height, just like a mason fitting stones in a wall.

J-query Notes – is a simple and easy to use jQuery-Plugin that allows you to add notes to any image (even foreign ones) on your website or blog.

Jquery Image Panning – Cool slideshow panning

gMap – is a lightweight jQuery plugin that helps you embed Google Maps into your website. With only 2 KB in size it is very flexible and highly customizable.

I think CSS is doing great, but the browsers aren’t…… and I am truly shocked why webmasters are so scared of CSS layouts, at the same time I think it is wise to use tables sometime (although I try to get around it mostly)…… and please don’t expect it to map your brain for you…… there will always be hacks and workarounds, they are a webmaster’s enthusiasm of staying ahead of the existing technology.

This is a good subject to talk about. Sometimes I fav stuff like this on Redit. I don’t think this would be the best to submit though. I will be sure to submit something else though.
