Crude Oz and The Straightjacket

Deo, one of the best web designer I know, was also the chief songwriter of Crude Oz Band. Yup, this very artistic musician was been my office mate. I heard him sing a couple of times but with his original composition, wowee! Very impressive.

They are not sound like another alternative band. In fact, their sound has the feel of the old with a touch of modern beats. Still they maintained an original and distinctive pop rock rhythm. Well, two of their songs, “Nasaan Ka?” and “Invisible Chains,” have both been named Track of the Week this year, by NU107.

What News?

Check out their first album “The Straightjacket“. You can enjoy and download it for FREE.

About Straightjacket

The Crude Oz Band playing gigs in venues like Purple Haze, RJ Bar, 6 Underground, Freedom Bar, Club Dredd, Kublai’s and 9mile.

Open up Your Eyes is one of my favorite, but I Still Believe was a song for me. I just learned that it was a song that he wrote after his first wife died. He married again and have two beautiful daughter. I also inspired with the followings songs “Understand”, “Take You Back” and “Right Here”, the message was God understand, God always at your side.. so get back to your feet again.

In 2006, Jeremy earned the top honors at the Twenty-Eighth Annual ASCAP Music Awards, winning the Songwriter Of The Year award (“Take You Back” and “This Man”). “Take You Back” also earned him the Song Of The Year award.

He has scored fourteen #1 hits (six from his first album, Stay). His first single was “Understand”. He has made seven music videos: “Understand”, “Walk By faith”, “Take You Back”, “Tonight” “Give You Glory”, “Let It Fade” and “I Am Willing”, a song which was not included on any of his albums.

Jeremy took part in winning the Dove award for Special Event Album Of The Year, which went to Music Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He released a special edition of his hit album, Restored. Four new songs were included on Restored: The Deluxe Gold Edition as well as a letter to his fans.
